Dawgs Get Visit From FSU Commit

Peach State OL Antwane Greenlee is one of the top players in the south at his position. He made an early commitment to the Florida State Seminoles but decided to take an unexpected trip to the University of Georgia on Thursday and he says the Dawgs have now given him a whole lot to think about.

"I didn't plan on going but it was a last minute thing. I got up there Thursday night and the next day I met up with Coach Callaway and Coach Johnson. I got to follow Nick Jones around all day and go to class with him. I got to really see what it was like being a student there. I love the student life at Georgia," Antwane Greenlee said.

Greenlee spent most of his time with three of UGA's young offensive linemen.

"Besides Nick, I also got to hang out with Big Cheese and Shaq. They told me what to expect. I could see myself chilling with them and possibly playing with them. They were all just really cool."

Before leaving, Antwane went to Mark Richt's office for some one on one time with the head Bulldog.

"We got on the computer and went over the depth chart and the players they signed. Right now they don't even know who the tackles are going to be next year so I would have a chance possibly to play as a freshman. The depth chart situation looks really good."

What is the status of his commitment now?

"I'm about 50% committed. It's between Georgia and Florida State. I'm still committed but it's kind of open. Georgia gave me a lot to think about."

Stay tuned to Scout.com to see if the Noles can hang on to Greenlee or if the Dawgs can convince him to stay home…
