Donley updates recruting

Quentin Grant recently spoke with D.J. Donley, a wide receiver out of Folkston, Georgia. This talented wide receiver lists the Dawgs as one of his top four schools.

Quentin Grant: What schools are currently in contact with you at this time?

D.J. Donley: Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, and Georgia Tech are the main schools

Are those also your favorites?

Yes, those are my favorite schools.

Have any of those schools offered you yet?

Yes, I have offers from all of them.

Can you tell me what you like the most about each of those schools?

Georgia and Florida – I went to a couple of games at each school this past season. I like the stadiums, the game day atmosphere, and just everything about each of them.

South Carolina and Georgia Tech – Their coaches are coming after me the hardest right now, and both of those schools are talking about playing time.

Do you have any plans for camping this summer?

I'm thinking about going to the Georgia camp, and I might try to make it to the Georgia Tech camp on June 10.

Have you attended any Junior Days or do you plan on attending any?

I haven't been to any yet. I'm supposed to be going to Georgia Tech this weekend. I don't think it's a Junior Day, but I'm going to watch them practice.

Are you going to try and make anyone's Spring Games?

This might be Georgia Tech's spring game this weekend. That's the only one I know I'm going to.

Of the four schools you mentioned, do you have a favorite?

No, everyone is on an equal playing field right now.

What are some of the main characteristics you are looking for in a school?

The academics and the athletic reputation are the main things. Location is not a problem for me.

When are you looking at making a commitment?

Right now, I have no idea. I might just go ahead and wait it out until February.
