Super athlete looks at Dawgs

Earl Everett is a diverse athlete. What does he say about his chances of ending up in Athens?

Earl Everett (6-3/210/4.5) is a super athlete that is considering Georgia this season. Everett recently attended the Nike Camp in Miami where he was a standout performer. He said that he has been hearing from several schools including Georgia, Florida, Florida State, and Miami, among others.

He said that he was considering Georgia because, "its not really that far from home." He went on to add "The academics at Georgia important to me. I do plan on visiting Georgia."

However, Georgia will have stiff competition from in-state schools.

"I am also looking at Florida State, Florida, and Miami."

He feels that his high school team, South Sumter, can make a run at the state title.

"If everyone comes to play we should be pretty good this year."

Part of the reason that Everett is so coveted, besides his athletic ability, is the diversity of positions that he can play. When asked what makes him so special Everett replied, "My ability to play more than one position. I can play receiver, tight end, running back, and have even played quarterback."
