Javario Burkes is a big-time offensive lineman out of Phoenix, Arizona. He is a left tackle for Moon Valley High School with offers from all over the country. Quentin Grant spoke with Burkes about his recent offers and the recruiting process.

Quentin Grant: What schools are you currently hearing from?

Javario Burkes: I'm hearing from a few big ones like Tennessee, Georgia, USC, Michigan St, Michigan, Oregon, Oregon State and Nebraska.

Do you have offers from those schools?

Yes, I have offers from all of them.

Are there any favorites or does anyone stand out right now?

No, I'm totally open right now.

Where are you looking at camping this summer?

At this time I don't know, and I probably won't know until later on.

What are some things you are looking for in a school?

I look at how the football program is and how close the players are. I also look at what the general school environment is like.

When are you looking at making a commitment?

I have no idea at what point in time I'm going to commit. It will probably be after my visits. I plan on making all of my official visits.

What are your strengths as a player?

My size to start off with. I'm lucky because I'm gifted with real long arms, and athletic ability.

What position on the offensive line do you see yourself playing in college?

Hopefully, where I'm at right now which is left tackle. It really feels comfortable for me.
