Dawgs Offer Scout.com Combine MVP

Lawrence, Kansas (Free State) tight end Christian Ballard, without question, made a name for himself at the Scout.com All-American Combine at the University of Iowa back on April 22nd.

Schools from all the country having been hearing Christian Ballard's name quite often, recently, and that has led to three new scholarship offers.

"I received offers, today, from Georgia, Michigan, and Michigan State," added Ballard, who lived in Marietta, Georgia until he was in the sixth grade.

"Georgia told me they saw my film, and really liked it. I was really surprised, and honored to receive the offer. I still have a lot of friends that live in the area, so I will give them a look."

"I spoke to the coach from Michigan, and he just told me that they are one of the best football schools in the country, and he'd like me to be a part of it."

"I haven't spoke with a Michigan State coach, yet."

Ballard has now received eight total offers, all of them coming after he made a verbal commitment to the Kansas Jayhawks earlier this spring. He says he remains a commitment to the Jayhawks.
