School Preferences: Virginia and Maryland lead Georgia, Michigan, and Wake Forest
Profile 2003 - Antowan Bell (WR)
Antowan Bell is one of the top WR's on the east coast. He has the prototype size and speed of today's best wide receivers. At 6-5 and 191 pounds with 4.5 speed Bell has gotten the attention several of the best colleges in the nation. He has garnered offers from all of his favorite teams.
"I ran a 4.5 at the Virginia camp," said Bell. "That's the only camp I'm going to this summer. My two favorite teams are Virginia and Maryland. After those two I like Georgia, Michigan, and Wake Forest."
Bell is an excellent basketball player as well. He averaged 20 points per game and 8 rebounds per game. He's a good enough athlete to play both sports in college and at least one school has talked to him about that possibility. "Georgia has been talking to me about playing basketball, but so far they're really the only ones. I'd be interested in playing both at the next level."
