Anderson heading to Hargrave

ATHENS – One of Georgia's top recruits in the recruiting class of 2006 will not be on campus this fall.

Five-star recruit Justin Anderson, who was one of the first players to commit to Georgia last year, will attend Hargrave Military this fall.

"I just want to improve my test scores," said Anderson, who indicated that he did not pass the graduation exam mandated by the State of Georgia for all graduating seniors.

Anderson will not lose college eligibility by attending Hargrave in the fall. He did not indicate if he would be staying there for one semester or two.

"It's not so bad now I guess. I guess I have kind of gotten over it – kind of," Anderson conceded. "We decided to do it about the time of the G-Day game."

Several Georgia players have gone to Hargrave and then enrolled at Georgia soon thereafter. Danny Ware, Leonard Pope and soon-to-be Bulldog Darius Dewberry all gone to the Virginia prep school and gotten their grades up enough to enroll at Georgia. However, some Georgia signees that have enrolled at Hargrave never made it to Athens.
