Repeat After Me

The NCAA Championships begin today as the top ranked Georgia Bulldogs look to repeat as National Championships. This season Chris Haack won the SEC Coach of the Year for the third time. The Bulldogs have won 6 events this season and will be looking for their 7th, but earlier the coach found time to talk.

Dave McMahon -- The NCAA Championships are finally here, this is what counts...

Chris Haack -- We know the championships are this week, but we try to approach this tournament like any other tournament. You have to play well and get some good breaks to win.

DM -- What is the difference between this year and last?

CH -- I think top to bottom we are playing better. With the addition to Brian Harman we are more aggressive and when you are aggressive you have a chance for lower scores.

DM -- Georgia has played this course this season, tell me about it...

CH -- It it very long and it can be very difficult if the weather is not perfect. The last time we played there, the weather was perfect.

DM -- I am going to list some of your golfers... give me a quick description when you hear their name?

Kevin Kisner -- He is our spark plug
Richard Scott -- He is steady... you know what you are going to get
Brendon Todd -- Another steady player... if we have to scramble we can count on him
Chris Kirk -- He is having one of the best seasons that I have ever seen
Brian Harman -- He is dangerous... College golf has not seen the best of him yet

Thank you for your time.
