Dawg Legacy Plays it Cool

Morgan Burnett is a 4 star athlete out of North Clayton High School in College Park, Georgia. He plays Quarterback and Safety for North Clayton, but projects as a ball hawking safety on the next level.

College coaches from around the southeast would love to sign this smooth safety from College Park. Morgan Burnett is a member of the Scout.com National Hot 100.

"Coaches from Tennessee, Georgia, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Auburn, Alabama, and Florida have been in contact with me recently," said Burnett. "All the coaches seem pretty cool."

Is staying close to home important for Burnett?

"I'll try, but it really doesn't matter. I'm just wide open right now."

Burnett and North Clayton are working hard to get better this summer.

"We have practice Monday through Thursday, and I also lift weights and run."

Burnett recently participated in a 7 on 7 tournament with his team. They were knocked out early, but Burnett rated his performance as "pretty good". No matter how Burnett rates himself, college coaches have him high on their list.

As far as any other camps this summer he is still unsure which ones he will go to.
