Update: Who is camping at Georgia?

ATHENS – One of the most important recruiting tools used by schools to attract the attention of top high school players is the summer camp. Georgia's summer camp will take place from July 7-8 at the practice fields. The sessions are closed to the public, but Dean Legge let's you know players have confirmed their attendance, which ones won't be there and who still has not decided to camp in Athens.

Report on 80 Total Players

Camping at Georgia

Marcus Gilchrist (Will decide between Virginia Tech, Clemson, Notre Dame, North Carolina and Georgia after Georgia's camp. It looks, however, like will only attend Georgia's camp, not participate in it. He will get to Athens on Thursday and leave on Saturday. Gilchrist told Scout.com that he will "probably make my decision after that.")

Jabaal Sheard (Has camped at Miami and will be trying to get to Florida State as well)

Tanner Strickland (No surprise here – Strickland has seemingly been with the Dawgs forever)

Bo Adebayo (Does not have an offer from Georgia. Oklahoma State and South Carolina are also in the mix)

Shane McCord (Does not have an offer from Georgia, but has camped at Auburn and Tennessee – but it looks like South Carolina and Tennessee are fighting for him.)

Jonathan Massaquoi (Will camp with the Dawgs and Memphis – he's looking for an offer from Georgia)

David Duran (Kell tight end does not have an SEC offer, but will camp at Georgia, Georgia Tech and Auburn.)

Bruce Figgens (Likely soon-to-be Georgia commit will camp at Georgia and Auburn and visit Clemson. He could pull a couple of kids with him to Georgia if he commits after the Bulldog camp.)

Charles Wood (He has an offer and might use it after attending Georgia's camp.)

Nick Claytor (Will this talented lineman finally get what he wants – an offer from Georgia? He's camp at Ohio State, Auburn and Florida State.)

Tyler Bowen (Another big lineman who really likes the Dawgs. He's not got an offer from Georgia but will camp with the Dawgs, at Auburn and has visited Georgia Tech.)

Armando Allen (To be filled in)

Doug Wiggins (Went to Miami (FL) camp in 9th grade, but has not camped since)

Logan Gray (Has already dropped by Athens, so a trip in for camp does not seem likely)

D.J. Donley (HS Coaches are supposed to get him to Athens Summer Camp)

Cameron Heyward (Dawgs offered in April, but his father passed away soon thereafter, which may have complicated matters)

Caleb King (The most talked-about running back in the South will probably show up for the camp, but not participate.)

Leonard Hankerson (This wide receiver has offers from just about everyone. He has told Scout.com that he is wide open, but that he will have a top five by the end of the summer. He has visited Michigan unofficially, and that could be one of the places he camps at.)

Broderick Ferguson (A safety from Montgomery without an offer from the Bulldogs, Ferguson may be in Athens for camp. Ferguson has already camped at Troy, Alabama and Mississippi State. He will also camp at Georgia Tech and UAB in July.)
