Georgia DE coach John Fabris is one of the most focused individuals you will see on a football field and he spent a lot of time with Matthews one on one.
"On defense I learned a lot about keeping my feet closer together and using my hands. Coach Fabris is a real intense guy and I like that a lot."
Cliff says the facilities at UGA stand out above all of the others that he's seen thus far.
"The facilities are all nice. The best I've seen so far. The dorms are like apartments. The stadium is huge and everything. I liked that a lot."
"Coach Richt was talking to me about doing the right thing and staying out of trouble. I told him I really liked Georgia and that they were number one and leading."
"A lot of the commitments were talking to me about coming to Georgia. I talked to Charles White the most. He's got a real good personality and he's also from South Carolina."
Despite their lead at this juncture, Bulldog fans will have to sweat out Cliff's decision at least until the end of the summer.
"I'll probably wait until early August some time to commit. I just want to take some time and visit South Carolina and Clemson again."
