UGA Commit Camps With Dawgs

Trinton Sturdivant was maybe the most important commitment for the Bulldogs in the class of 2007 when he made his verbal back in mid April. Over the weekend he came down to Athens for summer camp to get a taste of what UGA practices are like and he came away even more sure that he has made the right decision.

"They have great coaches here…really great coaches. I like the mat drills that they do. It was a great camp. I really learned a lot here," Trinton Sturdivant said.

Trinton got the chance to work alongside fellow OL commit Tanner Strickland.

"Tanner is a great player man. He challenged me out here. He's a great player."

2008 prospect Cornelius Washington and '07 standout Cliff Matthews kept Sturdivant and the other offensive tackle's extremely busy.

"Some of the defensive ends were really quick, so that was good that I got to work against them. There was some good competition."

Trinton says he leaves Athens with solid in his decision to join Mark Richt's program.

"I know Georgia is the place for me. I've been feeling more like that every day."

Sturdivant is a key member of Georgia's OL class and one of their biggest pick up's to date in the class of '07…
