4 Star WR Favors Georgia?

Leonard Hankerson is a former teammate of Bulldog Class of 2006 signee Geno Atkins. Georgia has extended an offer to the #16 WR in the country by Scout.com, and Hankerson says he favors one team slightly. Where do the Dawgs Stand?

Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) wide receiver Leonard Hankerson (6-3, 195, 4.55) said he favors Georgia (offer) slightly over Miami (offer), Ohio State (offer), USC, Florida and Michigan (offer)--in this order.

"I haven't been to Georgia, but I like the way they play because they are good on offense and defense. I also like the coaching staff because of the way they put pressure on both the offense and defense," said the wide-out from St. Thomas Acquinas.

"I visited Miami unofficially on June 15, and they have a good winning program.

"Ohio State's coaches are good coaches because they make you work hard," he said.

"USC also has a winning program. But they're not really recruiting me, and I haven't sent them my information.

"I like the way Florida runs their offense because they mostly throw the ball. I probably won't be able to visit this summer though.

"I visited Michigan on January 28 to watch a basketball game, but I also got to see the locker room and football field," Hankerson said.

The Aquinas High School prospect said that location wouldn't matter, and that the earliest he would commit is during fall because he wants to take some official visits.
