2006 Media Days: Legge's Look at Tennessee

BIRMINGHAM – Here's a look at the day Tennessee Head Coach Phillip Fulmer and the Vols had at the SEC's annual Media Day event. Tennessee finished fifth in the SEC East and did not go to a bowl last season.

That's how many yards rushing Tennessee averaged last season per game – their worst in the last six years. The Vols averaged 186 yards a game on the ground in 2004 when they won the SEC East. Tennessee also had a -7 turnover margin for the season. In the previous five years the Vols always had a positive turnover margin for the year.
