ATHENS - Josh Kendall's news and notes from Georgia's fall practices.

INJURY UPDATE: Wide receiver Mikey Henderson (hamstring) won't practice until at least Wednesday and doesn't know if he'll be ready to play against South Carolina, he said. He still can't walk without pain, he said.

"That's starting to go away," he said.

Freshman cornerback Prince Miller had a small cast on his right hand Monday but said it was merely precautionary. Fullback Jason Johnson (ankle) did not practice Monday.

NO NEWS: There was no change in the quarterback pecking order or practice rotation Monday, freshman Matthew Stafford said.

"I was just out there trying ot get ready for South Carolina," he said.

ANOTHER HONOR: Defensive end Quentin Moses was named the league's defensive lineman of the week after his three-tackle, one sack performance against Western Kentucky.

Moses had 2.5 tackles for loss and three quarterback hurries.

He was named lineman of the week twice last year.
