Profile 2003 - Marquis Rogers (DT)

Brunswick, GA defensive tackle prospect Marquis Rogers couldn't find a house that would fit comfortably on his shoulders, so he has to settle for squatting his 765 pounds the conventional way. "I've been lifting since I was in the 8th grade. My bench is at 365, and my squat is at 765."

Rogers has a personal best of 4.8 in the forty, and with his combination of size, strength, and quickness, he will be a prospect to watch this fall. like many successful interior linemen, Rogers is also an accomplished wrestler, posting a 36-4 record as a junior.

Rogers may be of a bit unknown to this point, having not gone to any summer camps, but with his physical ability, he won't be a secret for long. "We didn't get to go to any summer camps, but my favorite teams right now are Florida, Miami, ECU, Georgia, and Georgia Tech."
