ATHENS - Georgia head coach Mark Richt updated the media on Joe Tereshinski's status for this week's game against UAB.
was hurt during Georgia
's first drive of the game last night, and
"High ankle sprain is what Joe T has. Right now Ron Corson thinks Joe will be on crutches for a few weeks. It's typically about four to six weeks," Georgia head coach Mark Richt said Sunday.
"I doubt very seriously he will play in the next few games," Richt added.
Georgia will start Matthew Stafford against UAB, but Richt said he would like to get the number two quarterback, in this case Joe Cox, some snaps during games.
"I am comforatible that we can find a plan that Matthew can execute," Richt said.
