Colorado Week: Thursday Practice Report

ATHENS - Ninth-ranked Georgia finalized its on-field preparations for the Bulldogs' upcoming game against Colorado by holding an hour and a half workout on Thursday afternoon.

The Bulldogs (3-0) practiced under cloudless skies in shorts and no shoulder pads and head coach Mark Richt met with the media following the workout. With several players back from injury and a couple more back from suspensions, Richt said he anticipates almost a full lineup this week versus the Buffaloes (0-3) and especially next week at Ole Miss.

"We are getting closer to being at full strength and if we have no setbacks by next week, it will be by far the best shape we have been in," Richt said.

Richt also talked about the status of several players who have suffered minor injuries over the last several weeks.

"I thought Mikey (Henderson) and Mohamed (Massaquoi) came through pretty good today, so that's some good news and I would call them probable for the game," he said. "(Mario) Raley went from doubtful to questionable since his swelling went down a little bit so he might get some work. Ray (Gant) and Michael (Turner) will be sitting this one out because of their injuries."

With Henderson's status as probable, Richt also talked about his back-up at punt returner.

"Thomas Brown has been back there for a couple years so he would probably be the one and Ramarcus Brown could also return them if we needed him to."
