Dawgs beat Colorado: Three Keys Revisited

ATHENS - Josh Kendall takes a look back at the three keys to Georgia's game with Colorado.

Don't give the Buffs hope

The Bulldogs almost gave Colorado more than hope, namely its first win of the season. The Buffaloes drove the ball into short field goal range on their opening drive, thus removing the mystery from the Georgia defense. And the Colorado defense dominated for three quarters.

Get some offensive momentum

Not only did the offense not get rolling, it's starting to drift in the wrong direction. The offensive line was pushed around for three quarters, starting tailback Thomas Brown continued to struggle, and Matthew Stafford was exposed as human.

Georgia can check this one off the list. Not only did it come back to keep its record perfect, but it didn't add significantly to the injury list. In fact, if several players improve as expected, next week against Ole Miss will be the Bulldogs' healthiest game to date.
