"I am going to go where I am most comfortable. It's about comfort level for me – both athletically and academically," Heyward said. "What my family thinks is very important also."
Heyward did not attend Georgia's massive recruiting weekend, but has been up for an unofficial visit earlier this season, and will go to Athens in the next couple of weeks for another unofficial visit. He has also been to Clemson, but he does not include the Tigers in his list of interested schools.
"I talked with Coach Bobo Friday and Saturday," Heyward said. "He knew that this weekend was Homecoming for us, and I was not going to be able to make it."
Heyward said he will attend the LSU-Alabama game in the coming weeks, and will schedule his official visits "in the near future." Southern Cal "may or may not" get a visit from him – he indicated his family was "still talking over" going out west for that visit.
Heyward is the class of Georgia's region 7-AAAAA. Often, even though he is double teamed at times, he is not challenged on a high school line of scrimmage.
"There are times where you just have to motivate yourself," he said.
Heyward indicated that he is interested in playing basketball as well as football in college.

NOTE: The video below is NOT a highlight reel. It is about 50% of the downs Heyward played – specifically the ones he was involved in. I think it is a little more realistic way of seeing what a high school player is like.
