"Vanderbilt has a talented football team, and they have played very good football this season," Georgia coach Mark Richt said. "They are 0-3 in the conference, but they've been right there in every game. We have a lot of respect for their players and their coaches. I thought we had a good start to the week today. Sixteenth-ranked Georgia (5-1, 2-1 SEC) will entertain Vanderbilt (2-4, 0-3) on Saturday at Sanford Stadium in a 12:30 p.m. contest. The Bulldogs are coming off their first loss of the year, a 51-33 setback against Tennessee. The Commodores have beaten Tennessee State and Temple and have lost to Michigan, Alabama, Arkansas and Ole Miss. In Vanderbilt's SEC losses, the average per decision has been four points.
