Holding On...: Three Keys Revisited

ATHENS - Josh Kendall's reviews his three keys to Georgia's game with Mississippi State.

Check. It wasn't pretty (it never is when an 18-point favorite wins by three), but the Bulldogs won, which is more than they can say for the last two weeks. Georgia is now bowl-eligible.

Catch Matthew Stafford's passes

Except for Mohamed Massaquoi's two drops, Georgia's pass catchers had a nice day. Nine different players caught passes from Stafford. Tight end Tripp Chandler made a great catch on the Bulldogs' second touchdown of the day, and Kenneth Harris made three crucial catches to convert long third downs.

Batter Michael Henig

The Bulldogs got a season-high three sacks from their starting defensive ends, Quentin Moses and Charles Johnson, and Johnson made the play of the game when he stripped the ball from Henig and recovered the fumble with three seconds left to seal the victory. You can't ask for much more impact than that.
