What can Brown do for you?
Dave McMahon -- Why Georgia?
Takais Brown -- I was raw after high school and Georgia was one of the first schools that noticed me. A few others noticed me after awhile. I really liked Coach Herrmann. I talked to him a lot.
DM -- What was the biggest crowd you have played in front of?
TB -- A few thousand.
DM -- How excited are you that the team is about to play some big games against some big schools?
TB -- Very excited. The last game against Wake Forest was a totally new experience. I am very excited of the games coming up.
DM -- Which player in the SEC are you excited about playing against?
TB -- Noah, Joakim Noah. He is the the big man in the SEC right now.
DM -- What do you still need to work on?
TB -- I can be lazy sometimes. I also get winded. I need to do better in that.
DM -- You had a 3-pt basket against Wake Forest, will we be seeing any more 3's?
TB -- It's possible. If I am open I will take it. I am not going to start jacking threes.
DM -- How old were you when you first could dunk a basketball?
TB -- In the summer between the 9th and 10th grade.
DM -- Play any other sports growing up?
TB -- I played some football when I was younger, but I got a growth spurt. I was a tall, skinny kid and they stuck me on the line. I didn't like it that much so I started playing in more AAU leagues.
DM -- Living in Flint, Michigan you probably saw a lot of good basketball games growing up... who do you remember watching?
TB -- Couple players. Kevin Torbert who played at Michigan State. Desmond Farmer from Southern Cal. Anthony Roberson and a few others. Those games were always sold out.
DM -- Thank you for your time and answers.
Here are the current season stats for Takais Brown...
16.6 points per game
