"I just have to figure out which one is best for me," Wiggins said.
Georgia has already accepted an influx of mid-year offensive linemen, and has already told junior college lineman Joe Blaes that he will not be able to enroll this January because of scholarship number restrictions. The same may be the case for Wiggins, too, if he picks Georgia, or the staff may be holding the final mid-year spot for Wiggins instead of Blaes. Either way the Bulldogs would be glad to have Wiggins.
It appears Georgia has a slight lead for Wiggins thanks to Defensive Coordinator Willie Martinez's close ties to the Miami area. Martinez successfully pulled Max Jean-Gilles from North Miami Beach five years ago, and it appears possible he could do the same with Wiggins.
"We talk or text almost every day," Wiggins said of Martinez.
Tonight Martinez and the rest of the recruiting world will find out if that relationship paid off for Georgia or not.
