"He will be going up to Athens the last weekend of January," McIntosh County Academy head coach Robby Robinson said.
Bailey is one of a handful of recruits the Bulldogs are still waiting to hear from with regards to their college choice. Cameron Heyward will likely make his decision late in the month as well. Heyward and Bailey are the two most-sought-after players the Bulldogs are still recruiting.
Bailey plays linebacker in high school, and played there at the US Army All-American Bowl last weekend, but many project him as a defensive end in college. He played defensive end at the Georgia North-South All-Star Game in Columbus in December. However, Coach Robinson said, too much is being made about Bailey's recruitment with regard to playing linebacker.
"The schools that are recruiting Allen have been recruiting him as a linebacker since day one," Robinson said. "But he is going to do whatever his team needs him to do. He just wants to be given the ability to show what he can do at linebacker in college."
