IN FOCUS VIDEO: Strong discusses recruiting

GRAYSON – Dean Legge visits with one of the top linebackers in Georgia – Tristan Strong.

I went on the first weekend of the year to watch Conrad Obi, who, at that time was committed to Georgia. Obi was not the best player on the field that night – Tristan Strong was.

Built for the college game, Strong is a powerful linebacker who already has offers from Vanderbilt and Auburn. Vanderbilt has been on Strong the longest, and that has made an impact on him. He likes the Vandy coaching staff and enjoys Nashville. Still, Strong says he's not ready to commit to a program just yet. He will visit Georgia this weekend for the Bulldogs' junior day. He may or may not get an offer this weekend, but it seems likely that the Dawgs are not that far off his trail – John Jancek, Georgia's linebackers coach, has been by Grayson to see him twice.

"I have been to a lot of games, and there's nothing like those game days at Georgia," he said earlier this year.

Strong's tape is just making its rounds on college campuses. It will be on Dawg Post tomorrow. For the time being watch Strong talk about recruiting in the video below.
