Hawkins back for Dawgs' junior day

ATHENS – Aaron Hawkins, an offensive tackle from MLK in DeKalb County, talks about his time at Georgia's junior day.

Dean Legge: Tell me a little about yesterday's junior day.

Aaron Hawkins: It was nice. I liked it a lot. I talked with Coach Garner a lot.

DL: What did he have to say?

AH: He said that they were looking at me, and that they were going to keep up with me.

DL: What are you going to be doing for the next couple of months?

AH: I am going to go to a few more combines, and try to visit a bunch of schools.

DL: Would you have liked to have gotten an offer from Georgia yesterday?

AH: Yes, I would have. They are up there for me.

DL: Tell me who else has offered so far…

AH: Louisville and Duke

DL: Has Tech offered yet?

AH: Not yet.

DL: Who would you like to hear from more besides those three schools?

AH: Florida and LSU.

DL: But everyone in the SEC and ACC keeps up with you – right?

AH: Pretty much.

DL: Tell me a little bit more about your visit…

AH: I talked with Coach Garner for a while. We only stayed about two hours.

DL: What did he tell you when you visited with him?

AH: He told me that he was going to keep an eye on me in the future.
