About Georgia: The Bulldogs got a big win Saturday, holding off a late charge from Auburn in a foul-filled game. They looked much improved over their game a week ago, and had contributions from most of the lineup. Georgia will now take to the road, where it (like the rest of the SEC) has struggled. In conference games, Georgia is 2-4 away from home including a big collapse at Alabama. The Bulldogs will need to continue winning to hold onto third in the east.
About Ole Miss: The Rebels are tied atop of the lowly SEC west and have played well at home (5-1 in SEC games). It's been a different story on the road and they saw a four-game win streak end at Arkansas last weekend. Senior guard Bam Doyne leads the Rebels scoring 16 points a game.
Scouting report: The teams look somewhat similar. Both are fighting for a spot in the NCAA tournament and they match up well. The Rebels have size inside to match with Bulldogs top score Takais Brown and Todd Abernethy is one of the league's best point guards. Georgia will have to do what it does well. Take good 3-pointers and make them and work the ball inside. The team must also be weary of another late-game collapse.
