Dennard eager for a Georgia offer

Alphonzo Dennard is another quality defensive back from Georgia in the class of 2008. He has begun to receive interest from some of the top schools in the South.

Quentin Grant: The last time we talked to you, you had an offer from Clemson. Have you received any new offers lately.

Alphonzo Dennard: No I haven't received any other offers yet.

QG: What other schools are you hearing from at this point.

AD: Clemson, Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Georgia Tech.

QG: Do you feel like you are going to be getting some more offers soon?

AD: Yes sir, I think I will.

QG: Do you have a dream school that you would love to go to?

AD: Yes, Georgia and Clemson.

QG: Why did you put Georgia in that list?

AD: Because Georgia is just a great place where I think I can play.

QG: Are you really hoping for an offer from Georgia?

AD: Yes sir, I really am.

QG: Which coach is recruiting you for Georgia?

AD: Coach Bobo is who I have been hearing from.

QG: Are you hearing a lot from him right now.

AD: Yes sir I hear from him a good bit.

QG: Do you plan to attend anyone's Junior Day in the future?

AD: No, I don't have any planned right now.

QG: Do you have any plans for camps this summer?

AD: Yes sir, I know I'm going to Florida's camp. My coach said we would be going to a lot of camps this year, but I'm not sure about the others.
