Offers Galore - Brewer wants to visit Dawgs

Xavier Brewer, a cornerback from Bartram in Jacksonville, Florida, has been piling up the offers in recent weeks. The offer list stands at 17 and Georgia seems to be in good shape with this defensive standout.

Quentin Grant: You have 17 offers right now. Have you started to narrow down your list because it is such a long one?

Xavier Brewer: I'm really trying to take visits first before I really start to break it down. I visited Florida already and I love that place. I visited Georgia Tech and I like it there. I also visited Miami and like it there. So I'm really just waiting to take more visits.

QG: So you are just talking about unofficial visits to help you narrow down your list?

XB: Yes, just unofficial visits to get the feel for the environment.

QG: Do you have any other visits planned in the future?

XB: I don't have any planned right now, but I want to visit Georgia soon. If not this weekend then the next one and I also want to visit Clemson.

QG: Do you have a timeline as far as making a commitment?

XB: No, I'm probably definitely going to commit before the season starts.

QG: Can I ask why you want to commit early?

XB: I won't have to worry about recruiting. I can just be with me teammates. Hopefully we'll get deep into the playoffs this year and get that state championship.

QG: Do you plan on graduating early?

XB: No sir.

QG: Who is recruiting you for Georgia?

XB: Coach Rodney Garner.

QG: You mentioned that you wanted to visit Georgia. What do you like about them?

XB: I went there for a camp last year. I love Georgia, and I loved Coach Richt. I liked the campus and how everything is about the school. The academics are tough there and they do a lot to help you out with tutoring and all of that.

QG: So you definitely see yourself visiting Georgia soon?

XB: Yes sir, I do.
