Countdown to #1 in GA - #4 Zeb McKinzey

BorderWars has counted down the most comprehensive Georgia Talent list on the internet, and now it's time to look at the bluest of blue chip prospects. We check in at #4 with Zeb Mckinzey of Parkview.

Zeb McKinzey is the #1 offensive lineman in the state of Georgia, and he is one of the best in the entire nation. He is a member of the BorderWars 101 Team as well as a 4 star prospect by TheInsiders.com. He may be the most "ready" out of high school offensive lineman in the state as well. He is 6-3 and 280 pounds and blocks with tenacious power and drive, and he is being recruited by every team in the south.

Parkview has won 31 straight games in large part because of the best offensive line in the country. Brandon Pilgrim and David Overmyer each have top division 1 offers of their own at tackle, but it's McKinzey that anchors this unit. He's a 2 way starter at offensive guard and defensive tackle, and he's a big reason why Parkview is favored to win it all again this year.

Clemson and Georgia have been McKinzey's early favorites, but Florida State and Georgia Tech have crept into the action as well, and Vanderbilt has always been mentioned by the big lineman. Each month is seems as if there is a new team that has climbed into contention for McKinzey, but when that happens, players generally default back to their early favorites. While he is flirting with Georgia Tech and Florida State, this looks to be a Cat and Dawg battle down the stretch.
