King comes late, but likes visit to G-Day

Stockbridge athlete Vance King is fast on the field, but wasn't fast enough to beat the traffic coming to Athens for G-Day. He made it up in time to go to the game, but didn't have a chance to meet with any members of the Georgia coaching staff.

Still, it was a good visit.

"I liked it a lot," he said. "I can't really say what, but it's football and football's always exciting."

Georgia has cooled a little in recruiting King as he said he is receiving less communication from the Bulldog staff. He doesn't have an offer yet from Georgia.

He doesn't really know a reason, but expects to find something out and show them something at a combine on April 21. Also, he said he would "love" to visit Georgia again.

His only offers are from Indiana and North Carolina, and his top schools include Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, UNC and Clemson.

As for a decision, King said he doesn't know when he will make a decision.
