Futch wants to camp at Georgia

Chaminade Madonna linebacker Jordan Futch has a folder full of offers at his house in south Florida. The number in the packet is approaching 30. One is from Georgia.

But even with coaches coming to visit (including a visit from Georgia coaches Willie Martinez and John Jancek on Monday), Futch said he is focusing on his team that's in transition with a new coach during spring practice.

"I am taking my time and staying focused on my teammates," he said. "Right now I am open to all schools."

Futch said the Georgia coaches told him they liked what they saw and are very interested in him. The said "hello," but didn't have much of a chance to talk.

They told him they want him to make a trip to Athens, and Futch looks like he will be. He said he hopes to make an unofficial visit to a Georgia camp this summer.
