"I'm still wide open," he said. He said earlier in the summer that he wanted to visit many of the schools who have offered him, but he's only gotten to a few of them. "I've got like 20 or 30 offers, and I am going to narrow it down to eight by the end of the summer."
"I have already been up to Clemson, but I think I am going to try to go back up there during the season," he said. "South Carolina is still in it. I think really highly of them."
The Chester native is highly thought. Whitlock is considered a four-star prospect by Scout.com. He's considered the number three prospect in the Palmetto State and is said to be the fifth-best cornerback in the country.
When asked about the Bulldogs, Whitlock says he had plans to see what Georgia has to offer.
"I keep in touch with most of the coaches," Whitlock said. "Georgia – It's going to be next month when I visit."
