Richt wants to "get Boling in there"

ATHENS – True freshman offensive lineman Clint Boling hasn't taken away Scott Haverkamp's starting job, but he has earned himself playing this year, Coach Mark Richt said Saturday.

Boling filled in for Haverkamp as the starting right guard this weke while Haverkamp nursed a sprained ankle. Haverkamp will return to the starting lineup when he's cleared for full contact, which likely will be Monday, but Boling has taken advantage of the time.

"I don't know if it'll be a true three-man rotation yet, but I think we want to get Boling in there," Richt said. "He's shown enough that he should play some."

If Georgia's coaches decide Boling, Haverkamp and Chris Davis all deserve equally playing time, then Haverkamp will play both guard positions at times this season.
