Georgia CB Talks Visit, Season

Sanders Commings, a three-star cornerback from Augusta-Westside, (Ga.), took a recent unofficial visit to South Carolina. The Gamecocks have offered, and Commings talked about the trip and his upcoming season.

"We are getting ready for our first game," Sanders Commings said. "We play at Greenbrier. I think we should win the game. They pass the ball a lot, and we are pretty strong in the secondary."

"I think we are going to be all right this year. They have me playing cornerback, safety, punter and kicker."

Commings talked about his visit to Columbia and his interest in the Gamecocks.

"I took a visit to South Carolina last weekend," he said. "The visit went really good. I met with coach Hunt, coach Cooper and one of my position coaches. They gave my parents and I a tour of the stadium. I am going back on September 15, and they are going to give me a grand tour of the campus."

"I really liked it up there. It's a nice college town, and it was cool to hang out with the coaches. I like the fact the campus is in downtown Columbia. I like being in the city. They are recruiting me as a wide receiver/defensive back."

Auburn. Georgia and South Carolina have all offered the talented prospect. He does not list any favorites, but knows of two games on his schedule to attend.

"I know I should be going to a few games. I am going to Georgia on September 8, and then I will go back to South Carolina September 15. Those are the only visits I know of so far," Commings said.

"I still have the same offers. I don't have any favorites right now. I will hopefully make a decision pretty soon. I am trying to find the best place where I fit in. Most schools are recruiting me as an athlete. I really don't have a preference."
