But his visit got him no closer to being committed, he said today.
"I really don't know what I want in the college I am going to pick," the Chamblee lineman admitted.
That's one reason Uzzi won't make a college any time soon, it seems. He said that he will play his Friday afternoon game in Atlanta against Southside High and then take in Georgia Tech's game the next day.
Uzzi is considered one of the top linemen in the state. He's a player, it seems, that is going to pick between the Yellow Jackets and Bulldogs in February.
"I got to talk with Coach Richt, Coach Garner and Coach Searles in Athens," Uzzi said. "They told me how much they want me to come to Georgia."
Still, Uzzi said he took in the game and went home afterwards – he did not elaborate on the rest of his trip other than to say that he "really liked it up there."
