Jerrell Harris Discusses Alabama Game

Jerrell Harris, Scout.com four-star linebacker from Gadsden, (Ala.) City, was another National 100 recruit who was at Bryant-Denny Stadium for the Alabama-Arkansas game. Harris talks about his first game of the season in Tuscaloosa, and the latest with his recruitment.

"I had a great time, a great time in Tuscaloosa," said Jerrell Harris. "Everything was real good. I hung out with a few recruits. I really hung out with everybody."

"I thought the game was great. I thought Alabama played hard. Two good teams played each other. I only spoke to the coaches for a minute. They told me they were glad to see me as usual."

Harris has visited both in-state schools along with Clemson this season and will likely return to Tuscaloosa and Auburn before the end of the year.

"It was my first Alabama game. It was about the same as my other visits. I don't know what I am going to do, but Alabama has a good program going on. There are a lot of good things going on down there," he said.

Gadsden City is off to a 3-0 start and will travel Friday to Oxford (3-0) for a region game.

"Everything is going good. We are working hard. We have a real good team this year. I have been doing well. I have around 40 tackles and six or seven sacks. I am weighing around 220-pounds," Harris said.
