Georgia picked up a commitment from a Buford High School star this weekend, and with this player, speed is the name of the game. Mikey Henderson (5-10/155/4.35) is one of the fastest players in the state, and he is commitment #8 for Georgia.
"Georgia offered him Thursday night, and he accepted it right on the spot," said Buford Head Coach Dexter Wood. "Georgia likes him at a slot receiver type of position and maybe a little corner. He could play on either side of the ball, but mainly it's offense right now. He brings speed to the game. I can't imagine too many players in the state being faster than him. We've clocked him at 4.3 in the 40 here before. He's already returned a kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown, and he's got an interception return for a touchdown as well."
Henderson has a very highly touted teammate in offensive lineman Trey Chandler that leaning to Georgia and FSU.
