Ole Miss Week: Tuesday Practice Report

ATHENS - The No. 15-ranked Georgia Bulldogs (3-1, 1-1 SEC) went through a two-and-a-half-hour workout in full pads on Tuesday afternoon, their most physical session in preparation for this Saturday's conference date with Ole Miss (1-3, 0-2) at Sanford Stadium.

"Tuesdays are always important, and the work we do can really show up on game day," head coach Mark Richt said. "Our scout teams always do a solid job of giving us a good look, but I thought they were even better this afternoon. We certainly appreciate and value their efforts even though they don't receive a great deal of recognition."

Richt discussed Saturday's match-up with the Rebels earlier on Tuesday during his weekly press conference at Stegeman Coliseum.

"Ole Miss is a very good football team," Richt said. "A year ago we barely survived them. They really outplayed us in my opinion. Most of our players agree that last year that was the most physical game we played. I don¹t think they will be any different this year as far as the physical nature goes. We have a lot of respect for what Coach Orgeron and what he is trying to do, and last week¹s game against Florida is evidence that they are not far away from getting that big signature win. We are just going to try to keep that from happening this week.²
