Dawgs beat Auburn: Three Keys Revisited

ATHENS - Josh Kendall reviews his three keys to Georgia's win over Auburn.

Hold on to the ball

Georgia turned the ball over twice but still won the turnover battle four-to-two, and one of the Bulldogs turnovers, a Jason Johnson fumble, came late in the fourth quarter, when the outcome had long been decided. The other was a Matthew Stafford interception, his seventh of the season.

Watch out for Groves

The Tigers' defensive end turned linebacker was third on his team with five tackles but never made a huge impact on the game. That's an accomplishment for the Bulldogs, who also kept Auburn middle linebacker Tray Blackmon out of the picture all night. Blackmon had three tackles.

Pressure Brandon Cox

Auburn's quarterback officially took his place next to former Georgia Tech quarterback Reggie Ball in the hearts of Bulldog fans. No other two players have done so much to help the Georgia cause of late. Cox was sacked three times and harassed into his second consecutive four-interception game against Georgia. The Bulldogs will be sorry to see the senior leave The Plains.
