Humphrey Suspended Indefinitely

ATHENS - University of Georgia basketball player Billy Humphrey has been suspended indefinitely in compliance with UGA Athletic Association policy. He will not play in tonight¹s home game against Grambling State University.

According to UGAA policy, any student-athlete that has been arrested for a felony offense, as defined by State or Federal law, shall be suspended immediately until the matter is resolved.

Humphrey, a 6-2 junior from Dacula, Ga., started and scored 13 points in Georgia¹s only game thus far this season, a 107-65 victory last Friday over Jacksonville State.
