Dawgs try to grab Robinson

Monster defensive tackle talks about how he wants to move down south; but to what school?

Nate Robinson, the #1 ranked defensive tackle by TheInsiders.com from New Jersey, is hearing offers from schools all along the Eastern seaboard. Although he has been hurt for about a mouth, Robinson said that the recruiting phone calls have not slowed.

"I have missed five games already but that has not effected recruiting."

But even though former Georgia running backs coach Tony Pierce, from East Orange, New Jersey, was recruiting Robinson for Georgia, the prep star indicated that the transition to Rodney Garner has been flawless.

"It did not change when Garner picked me up for Georgia," noted Robinson.

Robinson said that he was eager to leave the New Jersey area for his college career.

"I like it down south better, because it's getting bad up here."

But how far south will this imposing player go? Right now Miami is number one on his list.

Robinson said that his "quickness off of the ball and moves" are what make him so special as a player. The 6-5 305 monster has ties to the Peach state; he grew up in Albany, Georgia.

The transition from Pierce to Garner has not been the only one that Robinson has made lately. "I'm doing home schooling right now," said Robinson. He indicated that he hoped to take the SAT on December 7th, but that he might not take the test that day because of his Michigan State trip. He says that the Spartans are currently his second favorite school behind Miami.

Georgia is third on Robinson's list and then  Maryland 4th. Finally, Virginia, his final visit on January 17th, rounds out this 5-star prep's list.
