Top QB wide open on and off the field (free look)

Omarr Conner is one of the top QB prospects in the south and in the nation. The only thing more wide open than his playing style is his decision on a college. Take a free look at the kind of articles you can expect every day with your Total Access Pass subscription.

Omarr Conner has been a member of the BorderWars 101 team for months. Only he was listed in the "athlete" category that I have for the team. After seeing more of Conner in action, I didn't wait until the 15th of the month to make the change. He was moved immediately from "Athlete" to the #3 quarterback in the region. He has an easy throwing motion and a strong arm. He is accurate with his passes and throws well on the run. He can run if he needs to, but he is on the verge of breaking Romaro Miller's state passing records because he is a passer not a runner and thrower.

One of the publishers in network made the comment when watching film on him, "Hey, that's a pretty good looking highlight film,"

As it turned out, he was watching the first quarter of one of Conner's games.

Conner has gotten it done on the field this year in helping lead Noxubee to a 9-1 record. He has passed for 2,808 yards and 28 touchdowns, and he has added 640 yards and 9 touchdowns on the ground. As wide open as he is on the field, he's even more wide open when it comes to his recruiting.

"I haven't really started narrowing things down at all," said Conner. "Every time I think I'm getting it down to a few schools, a few more schools call and it's right back to everyone again," Conner added with a laugh. "I haven't ruled anyone out. Florida, West Virginia, Ole Miss, Clemson, Georgia, pretty much the whole SEC, I'm still looking at all of them."

Conner has been to one game on the year, Mississippi State and Auburn, and he will be taking in the Ole Miss/LSU game and the Alabama/Auburn game in the next few weeks.
