Georgia continues to dominate the Peach State. They now have fifteen verbal commitments and all of them are from the state of Georgia. The most recent verbal is Trey Chandler.

"I went to Saturday's game against Ole Miss with my parents and before the game I committed to Coach (Mark) Richt," said Chandler. "I really like the coaching staff and it is a good situation for me. The program is on the rise and they have a whole lot of linemen graduating. That opens up a lot of opportunities for me. I really like their strength and conditioning coach (Van Hallanger) too. He was another big reason why I picked Georgia. Did you see what he did at Florida State?"

Chandler will need to get bigger at the next level. Despite being 6-6 and only 255 pounds, his upside is tremendous. He moves well, is physical and aggressive and has a frame to add some much needed weight.

Chandler, from Buford, Georgia, picked the Bulldogs over the Seminoles. That was a hard decision for the offensive tackle.

"It was very hard to do. But FSU is down now and that is two years in a row. It makes you think how long Bobby Bowden will be the coach at Florida State. I don't want to deal with that because I know coach Richt will be at Georgia a long time." Buford, ranked number two in Class 2A, faces Dawson County this weekend. They have a 24 game winning streak
