Still a young gun, Mettenberger's skill is catching up to his body. That's what is such a big deal, in my view, about Metteberger. Only now is he coming into his own – his coordination is coming along just fine. No, he's not a runner, but he's moving better than he once did. If you can't tell how strong an arm the Georgia commit has you are blind. That's what sets him apart from other quarterbacks in the country – an arm like that doesn't just pop up every day on the recruiting trail.
Mettenberger now physically looks like a college football quarterback… actually several professional quarterbacks would be envious of his body. I was so impressed with how far Mettenberger has come in such a short amount of time. While Mettenberger is probably one of the top five quarterbacks in the country right now (some argue that he's higher than that) I still think he has tremendous, tremendous upside.
