ATHENS - A full rundown of the day at Georgia's fall camp in Athens.

Georgia held its eighth day of fall camp. Here is what happened:

Quote of the day: "It's sad for him, of course, because he worked so hard. He got up to around the 310-pound range, stronger than he's ever been, just has been practicing so well. It's hard to lose his experience." - Mark Richt reacting to the news that Trinton Sturdivant would miss the 2008 season with a knee injury.

Note of the day: Starting left tackle Trinton Sturdivant is out for the season, according to head coach Mark Richt. Ths injury means two true freshmen, Ben Jones and Cordy Glenn, will be a part of the rotation on the Georgia offensive line.
