Richt admits he doesn't really know what a blog is, but that's not keeping him from starting one of his own.
Richt will join a growing list of college coaches putting their thoughts into cyberspace with the launch of Mark Richt.com.
"It's a new Web site for recruiting and anybody who wants to look at it," Richt said. "We hope that our recruits and their families look at it. We want to keep it fresh and updated. We hope our fans look at it. It's called MarkRicht.com, but it's really an awful lot about Georgia football."
Richt said his first post -- either a video or print blog – would be updated Sunday with comments about Bulldogs' game against Central Michigan.
CUFF CAN DO IT:
Against Central Michigan's spread offense, the Bulldogs will rely heavily on a nickel defense that employs a fifth defensive back. While Bryan Evans and Prince Miller could handle those duties at times, sophomore Vance Cuff has impressed coaches enough to earn some serious playing time, too.
"Vance has been performing well, practicing well," Richt said.
Cuff looked sharp last fall, Richt said, but regressed during spring drills. When he arrived for fall camp last month, however, he once again looked like the player coaches saw the year before.
"The spring he just was struggling, something wasn't right," Richt said. "Now he seems to be back to that guy we saw last fall. He's a lot stronger, more confident. He's playing well."

Wide receiver Kenneth Harris is doubtful for Saturday's game with an ankle, Richt said… Clint Boling will start at right tackle Saturday after returning from a one-game suspension. Kiante Tripp will get the start at left tackle… Richt said safety Quintin Banks, who is recovering from a knee injury suffered in fall camp, could be ready for Georgia's Sept. 27 game against Alabama. Fullback Brannan Southerland could play special teams in that game as well, Richt said, but likely would not return to offense until the Tennessee game two weeks later… Richt said he is closer to having a decision made on the future of suspended players Jeff Hensen and Donavon Baldwin, but was not yet prepared to make an announcement.
