Watch Dawg Post's exclusive video of 2010 prospect Jeffery Whitaker and get recruiting analyst Chad Simmons thoughts on the film inside.
Chad Simmons' Take: Whitaker will be one of the most highly recruited interior defensive linemen in the South over the next 13 months. His size and strength alone will help him pile up written offers. He plays with power and that is his biggest strength at this time. The junior needs to work on his explosiveness, his punch, and playing low. He does a good job filling his gap, collapsing the pocket, and he really improved his lateral movement in 2008 as well. Overall, Whitaker is not a flashy defensive tackle that makes a lot of solo plays, but he is a big body that is strong, he has above average agility, he plays the run very well, and he helps linebackers make big plays.
