When asked to compare the two plays Pollack isn't sheepish about Moreno's leap.
"From an athletic standpoint his was better hands down," the former Bulldog star said with a chuckle.
As seen on Dawg Post as well as almost every other media outlet around, Moreno hurdled a Central Michigan player on a dead run in the third quarter of Georgia's blowout win. The play wowed the Sanford Stadium crowd and has already become a YouTube legend with over 110,000 views since Saturday.
Still, Pollack's play was impressive, too, and probably more important. With time winding down in the fourth quarter Pollack nearly sacked South Carolina quarterback Corey Jenkins, but wound up with the ball in his hands instead. Pollack was credited with an interception return for a touchdown, which gave Georgia a narrow lead at the time. The Bulldogs held on to win the game 13-7.
"Mine may have impacted the game a little bit more, but if I tried to do that I probably would have broken my neck sooner," Pollack added.
